My Vision

I have created this site to showcase the fine luxury homes of Victoria and Vancouver Island. I myself am proud to be a life-long resident of Vancouver Island, and currently I reside with my wife Cindy on the Oak Bay/Saanich border in Victoria on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island.

Having grown up in a family involved in the development and marketing of luxury residences my passion for real estate started at a young age. This passion for real estate and my dedication to helping people is what drives me to succeed in providing my clients with the highest caliber of professional service, while at the same time creating life-long relationships.

For me success is about evolution and commitment. When I made my commitment to the real estate industry I made three simple promises to myself; 1) To listen to and understand the needs and desires of my clients, and then to try and exceed them. 2) To remain driven and consistently challenge myself to produce better results. 3) To always continue to learn, keep an open mind, and welcome change.

My goal is to become and remain a leader in the marketing and sales of real estate in Victoria, always putting my client's needs first and treating every deal as if it were my own.

Being born and raised in Victoria, it's hard not to have a special place in your heart for the city. More and more people are coming to the island every year, and I understand why... there is no other place like it on earth.
 
Below I offer some insight to who I am so that if and when we meet, I won't be just another face, and maybe you can even relate to me somehow.
 
Most of my early years were spent involved in community sports events on the island, and soccer quickly became my passion. When I wasn't out running with the ball at my feet, or practising my juggling skills, I could be found watching World Cup 86 videos over and over again, or reading one of my numerous soccer books, or adding to my beloved Manchester United scrapbook. I was simply mad about soccer, and come to think of it, I still am. I found something that I loved and that became all that I wanted to do in life.
 
As years went by I realized that playing soccer didn't give me any spending money, and it wouldn't pay the bills. I got my first job working in a local restaurant when I was fourteen, and I have spent the last thirteen years trying to perfect my knowledge of the industry; meeting people, improving my people skills, and learning how to give people the best service possible. I learned that great service not only made people come back, but it also made me feel great about what I was doing; people appreciate the little things. All of these skills that I have learned over the years, I bring with me as guidelines in real estate. “Great service is what people want and deserve.”
 
Over the past few years, real estate has become my love in life. A career that allows me to continue my passion for meeting people, brings me new challenges everyday, and even allows me to watch the odd soccer game here and there. It is very rewarding to assist someone finding a perfect place to call home. Sometimes it only takes days to find a dream home, other times it takes a lot of patience and perhaps years of looking, but eventually the right one will come along and it takes a dedicated realtor to make that happen.
 
I am a dedicated and down to earth person, and would be happy to answer any of your real estate queries. Together with my partner Adrian Langereis and the rest of our support staff at L&P Real Estate of Re/Max Camosun, we strive to provide real estate excellence to all of our clients, and look to build lasting relationships with all of you.
